چکیده
Research subject. Andesitic complexes of the Tondono caldera and Lokon-Empung volcano locate din northeastern part Sulawesi Island (Indonesia). Aim. To determine petrogenesis conditions andesites in northeast based on detailed studies volcanic rocks volcano. Materials methods. We studied rock samples collected by I.Yu. Safonova. andesites, conventional petrochemical, geochemical mineralogical methods were used. Melt inclusions also using a MIRA 3 LMU scanning microscope equipped with Aztec Energy XMax 80 system microanalysis, Horiba LabRam HR800 Raman spectroscope. The PT-parameters crystallization estimated from data composition melt approaches reported K.D. Putirka, F. Yavuz D.K. Yıldırım. Results. represent tholeiitic calc-alkaline island-arc magmas. Pyroxenes phenocrysts crystallized melts that evolved accumulation alkalis silica. Plagioclase felsic magmas, which are characterized decreasing role alkalis. glass mesostasis suggests participation very high content compositions minerals glasses allowed us to estimate andesites. pyroxene two intermediate magma chambers at depths 27.6–14.6 11.3–7.2 km temperatures ranging 1150 970ºС. plagioclase 930–910 900–890ºС. microcrystals (laths) lower 875–865 840–810ºС. Conclusions. derived compositionally similar boninites. showed three types different parental produced pyroxenes these 27.6 7.2 laths 930 810ºС.

Malaria in North Sulawesi, Indonesia
The incidence and impact of malaria in North Sulawesi have declined both in the short term during the 1990s, and over a much longer timespan (though perhaps less continuously) since the end of the colonial period. The improvement already seems to have been well underway before deliberate vector control activities became extensive in the second half of the 1970s, and environmental changes affect...
متن کاملSpeciation patterns and processes in the zooplankton of the ancient lakes of Sulawesi Island, Indonesia
Although studies of ancient lake fauna have provided important insights about speciation patterns and processes of organisms in heterogeneous benthic environments, evolutionary forces responsible for speciation in the relatively homogenous planktonic environment remain largely unexplored. In this study, we investigate possible mechanisms of speciation in zooplankton using the freshwater diaptom...
متن کاملBaseline reef health surveys at Bangka Island (North Sulawesi, Indonesia) reveal new threats
Worldwide coral reef decline appears to be accompanied by an increase in the spread of hard coral diseases. However, whether this is the result of increased direct and indirect human disturbances and/or an increase in natural stresses remains poorly understood. The provision of baseline surveys for monitoring coral health status lays the foundations to assess the effects of any such anthropogen...
متن کاملthe effect of taftan pozzolan on the compressive strength of concrete in the environmental conditions of oman sea (chabahar port)
cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
Five new species of Syzygium (Myrtaceae) from Sulawesi, Indonesia
Following ongoing ecological research on the tree diversity of the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, we describe five new species of Syzygium. These are the first descriptions of Syzygium species from the island since Blume (1850, Jambosa celebica and J. cornifolia), highlighting the significant lack of taxonomic research on the genus for the region. The five species proposed as new are Syzygium b...
